About Me

Mateo Vargas is a software developer in San Diego, California. He obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience and from the University of California, San Diego and minored in Computer Science. He then spent time working as a network engineer for The Core Group in Long Beach, California. He later completed his Master's of Science in Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. He has worked in game programming and web development. An avid gamer, Mateo spends much of his time outside of work playing both video and table-top games with friends and writes about a his experiences. His written work has been feature at playwrite.au.
